“Medical Sociologist Richard R. Hanson, a lecturer at California State University, Stanislaus and Modesto Junior College, who teaches courses in the Sociology of Religion, Sociology of Health and Illness will be conducting a behavioral and social scientific research study on ThetaHealing beginning in 2010. Mr. Hanson has worked as a Research Anthropologists with the Australian Aborigines and their health and illness challenges, and participated in a three year National Institute of Health funded research study on what he called the “Natural Health Movement in the United States”. This study researched energy healing therapies as well as many other alternative healing modalities. Follow up cross-cultural research in Europe and Australia by a co-researcher provided comparisons with alternative medicine in the United States. Hanson’s research on ThetaHealing will focus upon exploring the scientific implications and applications of ThetaHealing towards holistic health optimization in the global community.”
